The Pinterest phenomenon “Nailed It” needs very little introduction. By now we’re all intimately familiar with the expression and may have even experienced out own pinterest fail. aimiright?!
I haven’t experienced a fail quite like any of the fail’s I’m about to show you but I’ve certainly had a small share of valuable learning experiences. My issue with pinterest has always been the credibility of the photos being used – the ones that inspire us to DIY and fall in to the pinterest rabbit hole for hours and hours a day. Is there really any escape from the depths of pinterest? Pinterest rehab anyone? Moving right along…The key to getting people to look at your blog or repin your pin or interact with you on Instagram is to have great photos. I’m not a photographer. I don’t have a fancy camera or any nice lighting equipment – All I have is my trusty Galaxy S5. So more times than not, all those “ew la la” “:gasp:” nice photos you see aren’t original or they’re really too good to be true. When I do a pinterest DIY I always like to show you the pin that inspired me and some photos of how my DIY turned out.
So let’s jump to it. Without any further delay, here are my favorite pinterest fails:
I’d like to enter the following in to evidence in the case of The People vs. Pinterest
1. Exhibit A
Kids, this is why you shouldn’t do drugs.
2. Exhibit B
Put your hands in the air and step away from the Pinterest!
3. Exhibit C
This fail has infected thousands! Vaccinate your family, stay in bed for 2 days, stay hydrated, and whatever you do, don’t Pinterest for at least another week.
4. Exhibit D
NO.
5. Exhibit E
For the love of all things holy, Have mercy on the children!
6. Exhibit F
Go home Pinterest, you’re drunk
7. Exhibit G
Really not sure if this counts as animal abuse or just wasting perfectly good ingredients.
8. Exhibit H
:Face palm:
9. Exhibit I
Ladies and gentlemen, this is why toilet paper was invented.
10. Exhibit J
Were you ever really even trying?
I can honestly say I’ve never failed this hard lol.
I don’t even know how to conclude this entry. So I’ll just go.
Xoxo,
Megan
Lol hilarious

Oh Lord, those Spongebob cookies! I once tried to make, I think they were called Dr. Seuss cookies. They’re sugar cookies made with multi colored dough to make pretty pastel swirled cookies. Somehow my dough all mixed together and the cookies were all like a brown pastel color.
